VOM NZ IDOP Picnic & Prayer Walk | Christchurch

Join us this International Day of Prayer (IDOP) for the Persecuted Church as we gather for fellowship, prayer, and encouragement in support of our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world.

🧺 1:00pm - 2:00pm | BYO Picnic Lunch & Fellowship

We'll meet at Richmond Community Garden for a relaxed picnic lunch and a chance to connect with believers from across Christchurch.

Please bring your own picnic lunch. There is also a small café onsite, Riverlution Café, with limited food options available. We recommend bringing a travel mug or keep cup if you'd like to purchase a hot drink.

🚶‍♀️🙏 2:00pm - 3:00pm | Guided Prayer Walk

Following lunch, we'll take part in a gentle prayer walk through the area, pausing at several points to hear stories from the persecuted church and pray together.

And don't worry... it's not an hour of walking! The walk is designed to be accessible and includes plenty of opportunities to stop, reflect, and pray.
